Tianjin Pengruili Rehabilitation Hospital

Tianjin Pengruili Rehabilitation Hospital is located at No. 2 Fengya Road, Xiqing District, adjacent to Tianjin South Railway Station. It is a Sino-foreign joint venture secondary rehabilitation hospital. The first phase has 101 beds, with a planned total of about 200 beds. The hospital is committed to building four key departments: neurological rehabilitation, intensive care rehabilitation, sports injury rehabilitation, and swallowing disorder rehabilitation. Among them, sports injury rehabilitation and swallowing disorder rehabilitation are frontier specialty departments. The hospital also has traditional rehabilitation disciplines such as orthopedic rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, and sleep disorder rehabilitation.

Key and Featured Disciplines

Critical Care Rehabilitation
A strategic discipline focused on providing critically ill patients with respiratory support, comprehensive cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, brain arousal therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy with equipment.

Neurorehabilitation
A foundational discipline focused on patients in the recovery phase of stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. It mainly combines modern rehabilitation and traditional rehabilitation treatments from both Chinese and Western medicine, carried out by a four-professional team composed of rehabilitation doctors, rehabilitation therapists, nurses, and nutritionists.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation
A cutting-edge discipline dedicated to treating injuries caused by sports in professional athletes, sports enthusiasts, and high-end individuals. It can provide professional sports function assessments and personalized training guidance.

Swallowing Disorder Rehabilitation
A specialized sub-discipline that improves the safety and effectiveness of swallowing by enhancing physiological functions, such as improving the contraction strength, speed, and coordination of swallowing muscles, to achieve safe and effective swallowing.

Expert Medical Team
The hospital employs a medical expert team led by renowned specialists from well-known top-tier hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai. They possess excellent medical skills and rich clinical experience, providing patients with high-quality, comprehensive rehabilitation medical services.

Fully Equipped Rehabilitation Therapy Hall

The rehabilitation hospital has a comprehensive rehabilitation therapy hall covering an area of 2,000 square meters, including areas for exercise therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, swallowing therapy, physical factor therapy, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation therapy, as well as an outdoor rehabilitation therapy area of over 200 square meters, which can meet the diverse rehabilitation needs of patients.

World-class advanced rehabilitation equipment

To meet the treatment and rehabilitation needs of different patients, the hospital has introduced world-leading rehabilitation equipment, including the US Boost anti-gravity rehabilitation treadmill, the Danish Guldmann 3rd generation overhead suspension system, upper and lower limb rehabilitation robots, and a 24-person hyperbaric oxygen chamber, among other specialized rehabilitation equipment. This allows the hospital to provide patients with more diverse and personalized rehabilitation treatment plans, helping them return to a healthy life faster and better.

At the same time, it is equipped with Tianjin's only large lifting hydrotherapy pool (aquatic rehabilitation therapy), covering various programs including traditional hydrotherapy, aquatic exercise therapy, and aquatic physical fitness training. It utilizes the properties of water (hydrostatic pressure, buoyancy, water flow, vortices and water jets, thermal stimulation) to help patients carry out efficient and safe exercise training in water, effectively improving motor dysfunction.
