In the journey towards internationalization and high-quality medical services, every pause to look back is meant to gather stronger momentum for moving forward.

Recently, Tianjin Pengrui Medical City held the 2025 Annual Awards Ceremony. Liu Dan, President of Tianjin Pengrui Medical City and President of Tianjin Pengrui Hospital; Zhu Liqin, Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Tianjin Pengrui Medical City; Liu Qiang, Vice President of Tianjin Pengrui Medical City and President of Tianjin Pengrui Rehabilitation Hospital and Jiankang Nursing Institute; Yang Yuan, Assistant to the President of Tianjin Pengrui Hospital; Yue Haitao, Assistant to the President of Tianjin Pengrui Hospital, along with heads and staff representatives from various clinical, medical technology, and administrative departments, attended together to witness this moment of honor.

At the beginning of the conference, Liu Dan, President of Tianjin Perennial Medical City and President of Tianjin Perennial Hospital, delivered a speech.  

In his speech, President Liu Dan reviewed the growth trajectory of Tianjin Perennial Medical City since its official operation in February 2025. As the country's first foreign-invested, fully owned comprehensive tertiary hospital, a secondary rehabilitation hospital, a brain hospital, and a Yikang nursing home integrated into one compound medical platform, we have continuously innovated in our service model and have also gathered collective brilliance like 'a lamp, a flag' through collaboration.  

'The medical and healthcare industry is, at its core, a “people” industry—it serves people and relies on people. In this hopeful collective, every effort deserves to be recognized; every contribution is building our shared future,' said President Liu Dan. This shared understanding has allowed us to maintain synergy and steady progress in all our operations during the early stages. He extended congratulations to all the award-winning departments and individuals and expressed heartfelt thanks to every colleague who contributes silently in their daily work.  

The core part of this conference is the annual awards and recognition. To comprehensively set examples and encourage collaborative progress, the conference established a multi-dimensional honor system covering team contributions, professional breakthroughs, service quality, and management efficiency. This system includes both collective awards, such as Outstanding Department and Outstanding Nursing Team, and multiple series of individual awards, such as Outstanding Department Head and Outstanding Employee, fully reflecting the solid achievements and team spirit of Tianjin Perennial Medical City in clinical technology, patient service, and operational support.

During the collective awards segment, we consecutively presented eight major honors: [Outstanding Department Award], [Medical Insurance Compliance Award], [Outstanding Platform Award], [New Technology Excellence Award], [Grade III and IV Surgery Excellence Award], [Outstanding Patient Service Award], [Outstanding Medical Record Award], and [Outstanding Nursing Department Award]. Representatives from the Nursing Department, Medical Affairs Department, Orthopedics, Cardiothoracic Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center, Operating Room, Anesthesiology, International Department, and Critical Rehabilitation Department went on stage one after another to receive this recognition that belongs to the team. Each award corresponds to a professional spirit and service dimension, witnessing the solid contributions of each department in clinical work, management, service, and innovation.

The newly established 【Outstanding Department Director Award】 covers three categories: functional management, clinical diagnosis and treatment, and medical technology support, recognizing department heads who excel in department management and professional leadership; the 【Outstanding Head Nurse Award】 targets nursing management teams, acknowledging their significant contributions to nursing quality improvement and team building; the 【Outstanding Employee Award】 spans six job sequences, including functional, business, medical, nursing, pharmacy, and medical technology roles, honoring colleagues who are dedicated and perform excellently in their respective professional fields. Each award recipient is an indispensable force in the operation system of the medical city. Their professional spirit, sense of responsibility, and continuous dedication collectively build a solid foundation for the stable operation and sustainable development of the medical city.
