Dr. Tong Chunsheng

Profile

Specializes in the surgical and interventional treatment of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congenital heart defects, and aortic dissection. Core competencies include coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair and replacement, surgical correction of congenital heart disease, endovascular aortic repair (EVAR), and open aortic surgery. He also has extensive clinical experience in the comprehensive surgical management of end-stage heart failure.

Clinical Interests

With 28 years of clinical experience in cardiovascular surgery, he has participated in over 6,000 cardiac surgeries, including coronary artery disease, rheumatic heart disease, aortic dissection, and congenital heart defects, of which nearly 500 were performed as the primary surgeon. He possesses a solid theoretical foundation and extensive practical expertise in surgical treatment of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congenital heart defect correction, surgical intervention for end-stage heart failure, as well as open surgery and endovascular repair for aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection.
